Forge 1.19.2 0.0.2

  • Version: 0.0.2
  • Target: Forge 1.19.2
  • Type: First same-line test candidate
  • Release-preparation date: 2026-08-07
  • Previous release baseline: none; 13 first-parent commits since the branch landing baseline

Release delta since the previous release

This is the first release-preparation log for Forge 1.19.2, so there is no previous same-line release to compare against. The 13-commit delta establishes compatibility, Create/Flywheel support, the 1.1.7 experience port, area-destruction visuals, diagnostics, and real task cancellation.

Player-visible changes

  • The 1.19.2 line now has the 1.1.7 interaction experience, area-destruction outlines/highlights, and Forge compatibility fixes.
  • When AREA_DESTROY waits for a tool/resource and a new mining action replaces it, the old durable task is genuinely cancelled and cannot later resume the old area.
  • The opening Pilot notice states that this line has no prior release; players should keep backups while waiting for a stable release for the line.

Technical and compatibility notes

  • The tutorial now covers Storage binding read/write versus extract-only access, Range binding, and UI theme changes. The in-game AI and local versioned appendices also document the client → network → server → task/persistence chain, client/server log boundaries, and trace-based analysis. Normal how-to answers stay brief; recent logs are used for bug diagnosis.

  • Replacement cancels only current-player, current-dimension MINING and area-destruction DESTRUCTION; PLACE, QUICK_BUILD, and BLUEPRINT_BUILD are unaffected.

  • RtsTaskEngine.cancelWorkflowTask(...) writes CANCELLED, releases runtime state, preserves cursor/succeeded, writes a tombstone, and closes the workflow. Without replacement, WAITING_RESOURCE may continue waiting.

  • There is no previous stable package for rollback. Keep world/config backups and provide client/server logs if unstable.
