Remote Building
Bind storage first, then select and place blocks from the RTS view.
Select Materials
- Open RTSBuilding.
- Open Storage Space in the bottom bar.
- Search or use categories to find the block you want.
- Click the block to set it as the current placement item.
The top hint text shows the currently selected item.
Choose a Block State
After selecting a placeable block, press R in the RTS view to open the block-state wheel.
The wheel lists placement states that can be safely chosen in advance, such as facing, axis, top or bottom slab half, and attachment face. Use ← / → when the choices span multiple pages. Left-click applies a state; right-click or Esc cancels. The placement ghost updates to the selected state.
Not every block has a selectable state. A message appears above the bottom bar when the current block is unsupported.
Normal Placement
Stay in Interact mode.
Aim at a block face in the world and right-click to place the selected block.
Hold Shift while right-clicking if the target is a chest, machine, or another block that normally opens.
Use Quick Build
When placing a row, wall, or area, open Quick Build from the top bar and keep it in Range Build mode.
- Click the Quick Build button.
- Choose a shape and fill mode.
- Follow the top hint to set point A, point B, or height.
- Right-click to confirm when the preview is correct.
If the preview is wrong, click Quick Build again to cancel.
For Range Destroy, Chain, and Connect, see Quick Build.
Undo and Redo
The newly placed group can usually be undone with Ctrl + Z and redone with Ctrl + Y.
Undo and redo normally require the current selected item to match the item used for the original placement.
Return to Empty Hand
After building, click the empty-hand slot in the bottom quick bar to return to normal interaction.
