Left Controls

The left controls sit on the far left of the bottom bar. They adjust storage display, change bottom bar height, and open crafting or remote machine entries.

The buttons are small, but they are high-frequency controls. Once familiar, you can adjust the bottom bar without opening the settings panel.

Sort Mode

The S button switches the sort mode for Storage Space.

Common modes include quantity, mod, and name. The current mode appears near the button, such as Qty, Mod, or Name.

Ascending and Descending

The A / D buttons switch between ascending and descending order.

When sorting by quantity, ascending puts low-count items first, while descending puts high-count items first.

If you are looking for bulk building materials, quantity descending is usually faster. If you are checking what is almost gone, quantity ascending is easier.

Adjust Bottom Bar Height

The + and - buttons adjust bottom bar height.

Click + when you want to see more storage items at once.

Click - when you want more world view.

This only changes the RTSBuilding bottom bar. It does not change the size of the vanilla inventory screen.

Open the Crafting Panel

The C button opens the crafting panel.

After installing the Craft Terminal Plugin, click C, or press the keyboard C key, to view items that can be crafted from the currently bound storage.

If the C button is missing, the server probably has survival balancing enabled and you have not installed the Craft Terminal Plugin yet.

Remote Machine Slots

The small + slots near C bind remote machine screens.

After installing the Storage Integration Plugin, click a small + slot, then left-click a machine in the world to bind that machine screen to the bottom bar.

After binding, click that slot to open the machine remotely from the RTS interface without walking back to it.

Good targets include crafting tables, machines, tanks, processing line inputs, and other blocks you frequently check or refill.
