- Version:
1.1.7-beta1 - Target: Forge 1.20.1

- Previous release baseline:
1.1.6-patch2
Release delta since the previous release
The Forge 1.20.1 first-parent delta contains 188 mainline commits after the baseline, bringing the mainline experience, Forge compatibility, and durable-task fixes together.
Player-visible changes
- Ported the 1.1.7 UI, area-destruction outlines/hover feedback, Quick Build interaction, and Create/Flywheel/offscreen-preview compatibility improvements.
- Fixed Forge-line issues around oversized-task persistence, undo stability, hidden workflow capacity, and rotation/preview state.
- Area destruction still waits when resources are unavailable, but a later mining replacement action now cancels the old real task instead of allowing it to resume and destroy the old area.
- The opening notice, AI guide, and technical appendix now describe Forge 1.20.1 specifically and name
1.1.6-patch2as the rollback path.
Technical and compatibility notes
The tutorial now covers Storage binding read/write versus extract-only access, Range binding, and UI theme changes. The in-game AI and local versioned appendices also document the client → network → server → task/persistence chain, client/server log boundaries, and trace-based analysis. Normal how-to answers stay brief; recent logs are used for bug diagnosis.
A replacement cancels only non-terminal
MININGand area-destructionDESTRUCTIONtasks for the current player and dimension; PLACE, QUICK_BUILD, and BLUEPRINT_BUILD are outside the scope.RtsTaskEngine.cancelWorkflowTask(...)is the single cancellation path: it writesCANCELLED, releases leases, preserves cursor/succeeded, writes a tombstone, closes the workflow, and prevents durable projection restoration.Without a replacement action,
WAITING_RESOURCEremains resumable after the tool/resources recover.Back up before this Beta. If unstable, return to
1.1.6-patch2; multiplayer clients and servers should use the same version.
