Official Changelog

NeoForge 1.21.1 1.1.4 Pilot

For Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge.

1.1.4 is still a Pilot build. If you want the latest stable release, use 1.1.2. Detailed usage docs are available at https://rts.ciallo.ltd.

Compared with 1.1.3-pilot, this is a larger feature and architecture update. It improves long build/mining workflows, remote storage compatibility, large range-destroy visuals, RTS camera/player movement, and several player-facing UI defaults.

  • Added workflow-based build and mining management.

    • Large placement and mining jobs now run through a server-side workflow system with progress tracking.
    • Workflows can be paused, resumed, deleted, and restored after temporary interruption.
    • Suspended placement work can be scanned and resumed when materials become available again.
    • The technical workflow panel is available in UI Visuals, but hidden by default so normal players are not forced to see background job details.
  • Improved undo and batch safety.

    • Ctrl+Z undo is now backed by server-side history for placement and destructive operations.
    • Undo restores or removes recorded block batches more consistently, while avoiding unsafe survival-mode NBT restoration.
    • Mining and placement execution were moved toward pipeline-style processing, making tool borrowing, history recording, network sync, and cleanup less fragile.
  • Improved remote mining and range destroy.

    • Selected RTS tool items now behave as real remote mining tools instead of silently falling back to the hotbar.
    • Tool protection defaults on and stops chain/range mining when a damageable tool is near breaking.
    • Remote break visuals now use server-confirmed fake-air feedback so blocks disappear promptly even in heavy modpacks.
    • Large range-destroy skeletons now rebuild from the remaining targets after each destructive tick, so newly exposed internal faces are visible.
  • Added Ctrl+right-click player movement support.

    • Ctrl+right-click moves the player toward the clicked target from RTS mode.
    • Ctrl+double-right-click while flying lands on top of the target block.
    • The current move target is highlighted with a thicker blue outline and fades quickly after arrival.
  • Improved linked storage and mod compatibility.

    • Added Refined Storage 2 network handling for NeoForge 1.21.1.
    • Binding RS network blocks should now show real network contents instead of disk/card slots.
    • AE2-like and large linked-storage paths received more caching and query separation, reducing expensive storage refreshes during hot actions.
    • Craft Terminal refill can fall back to recipe Ingredient matching, improving modded recipe compatibility.
  • Improved blueprint and quick-slot behavior.

    • Blueprint placement hints are clearer before and after pinning.
    • Blueprint AE2 cable/bus materials and excluded capture markers are handled more accurately.
    • Pinned quick slots now preserve real ItemStack previews, which helps component-heavy modded items such as Silent Gear tools.
  • UI and visual polish.

    • Close-range hovered blocks now read more clearly as a bright yellow skeleton instead of a heavy orange face cover.
    • Storage-ready popup is hidden by default and can be re-enabled in UI Visuals.
    • Pan Drag and Rotate Drag defaults were aligned with the guide text.
    • Player status overlay and workflow panel are now local UI preferences.
    • The intro message now says the latest stable release is 1.1.2 and shows the guide URL as a clickable chat link.
  • Internal and QA notes.

    • The server storage, mining, placement, transfer, page cache, and API layers were split into smaller services.
    • Benchmark and unit-test infrastructure was expanded for storage, cache, linked-storage resolution, history, shape generation, and mining behavior.
    • Default Gradle build verification now avoids running measurement-only benchmark tests and runtime-dependent history tests in the plain JUnit worker.
